I'm a 26 year old Maryland native who loves God, has a passion for art, photography, dance, music, and emerging innovative technologies. I am an alumna of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), where I earned her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. Currently, I'm completing a Masters program in Mechanical Engineering at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech)! At Virginia Tech, my research is focused on using Additive Manufacturing technologies as a way to explore how strategic surface patterning design may influence mechanical and dynamic performance. My research interests include mechanical design, product development, human factors, ergonomics, and biomedical research. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy salsa dancing, digital photography, and spending quality time with family and friends. Education, the lifelong pursuit of learning, is very important to me and I enjoy immersing myself in art history, culture, fashion, and technologies, and cooking. People watching, simply enjoying human nature, is one of her favorite pastimes. I am undoubtedly kind, caring, and loving in nature, and I am all about spreading love, being positive, and inspiring others with my life experiences and helping others.
